Surface Pro Ethernet Adapter Issues
Network adapter issue with Surface Pro 3. Anyone else ?
I bought the pro 3 on friday at bestbuy. It connected to the internet out of the box. Bluetooth worked too.
Installed a few software in the following 24h and then.. no more network. At all. Then when I tried looking for internet connections it mentionned 'No network adapter hardware found'. It didn't see any networks and Bluetooth wasn't appearing anywhere anymore.
Contacted ms support. All in all. they made me reset the computer back to it's factory settings. Bye bye all the work done. But it worked.. or so I thought.
After the reset, I could connect to networks and Bluetooth again. But now it seems as if the surface can only stay connected for a limited time. 15 min to a few hours but it will disconnect. And while connected it's very slow.
Anyone else has this issue ? Anyone has a fix ? Thx
Edit : It seems the surface product line has been plagued with wifi issues. I'm sorting out the possible solutions and will try some later. (disabling selective suspend?) I also own surface RT and actually encountered some networking issue but nothing like the surface pro 3. Pro 3 simply can't be use right now for internet. too slow, disconnect.
